Campbell, Calif., Jan. 12, 2011 – Barracuda Networks Inc. today announced that it has been named as a finalist in the “Best Security Company” category and its Barracuda Web Filter and Barracuda Web Filtering Service are being jointly considered in the “Best Content Security” category from the SC Magazine Reader’s Trust Awards.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Barracuda Networks and its products have been named as finalists in this prestigious industry award competition, which honors best-in-class security products and services.  Barracuda Networks was selected from hundreds of entries submitted in more than 31 technology categories.  All finalists will be reviewed and winners chosen by the wide distribution of SC Magazine readers, which includes security and technology experts from large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets.
