Using Barracuda Networks’ powerful new email security service as a pure cloud offering or with the Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall in hybrid mode, customers will benefit from:

By contrast, customers that opt to deploy the Barracuda Email Security Service as a pure-cloud offering without the Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall will still benefit from full inbound and outbound email filtering, user quarantine and multi-domain management.

The new Cloud Protection Layer is available to all new and current Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall and Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall Vx customers in firmware release 5.0.  The Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall appliance is available in eight models with prices starting at $699 with no per user fees.  The Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall Vx virtual appliance is available in three editions with subscription prices starting at $849 per year.  Barracuda Email Security Service subscription pricing starts at $800 for 100 users, per year.  International pricing and availability varies according to region.
