Advanced Application Security Now Standard on Barracuda Load Balancer ADC Models 540 and Above.

Campbell, Calif. -- April 16, 2014 -- Barracuda Networks, Inc. (NYSE: CUDA), a leading provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, today announced that it will offer advanced application security on Barracuda Load Balancer ADC models 540 and above at no additional cost. This move signifies a new approach in the application delivery market, making advanced security available to organizations at an affordable cost.

Traditional Application Delivery Controller (ADC) platforms can force customers to make a choice between budget and security, which may lead to compromised security. Barracuda's new approach allows organizations purchasing Barracuda Load Balancer ADC models 540 and above to include advanced application security automatically, giving customers the option of scaling layer 7 application security while managing traffic in their data centers.
