Announcing Barracuda Racing, Bryan Herta Autosport, and Austin Dyne -New Team, New Partnership for 2014 Red Bull Global RallyCross Championship Season.

Campbell, Calif. -- April 2, 2014 -- Barracuda Networks, Inc., (NYSE: CUDA) a leading provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, today announced a primary sponsorship with Global Rallycross rookie driver Austin Dyne and racing veteran Bryan Herta to bring Barracuda Racing to GRC.

Dyne will compete in the #14 Barracuda Racing Ford Fiesta SuperCar for the full 2014 Red Bull Global Rally-Cross season, including a highly coveted X Games Invitational set to take place in Austin, TX on June 7.

Former Indycar driver and current team owner Bryan Herta joins the team for his first foray into the fastest growing segment of auto racing, Red Bull Global Rallycross. Herta commented, "I am really excited to be expanding into GRC, and to do it with friends and partners like Barracuda and Austin Dyne is ideal. The car looks fantastic and the schedule and TV platform for the series is extremely compelling."

The Barracuda Racing Fiesta is a beast, producing a breathtaking 600BHP and 0-60MPH in a quick 1.8 seconds. With a dynamic combination of performance and talent, this is shaping up to be a very competitive entry for this bright new team. Barracuda will unveil the official car in the coming weeks.

Red Bull Global Rallycross represents a fresh challenge for Dyne, having previously won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Rookie of the Year and having the chance to get his feet wet in GRC Lites just last year.

The Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship has signed a multi-year deal with NBC to air live event coverage on the network on prime weekend time slots, along with rebroadcasts on the NBC Sports Network.
