Barracuda NG Firewall Now Available on Windows Azure.

Campbell, Calif. (February 25, 2014) - Barracuda Networks, Inc. (NYSE: CUDA), a leading provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, today announced that the Barracuda NG Firewall is now available on the Windows Azure cloud platform, joining the Barracuda Web Application Firewall. Barracuda will showcase this technology in booth 3237 at the RSA Conference 2014 this week in San Francisco.

The Barracuda Web Application Firewall has gained market traction in helping secure applications hosted in Windows Azure. With the Barracuda NG Firewall now available, Barracuda offers Windows Azure customers the following:

• Barracuda NG Firewall: Provides next generation firewalling and high speed (>1 Gbps) site-to-site secure remote access from on-premises networks to Windows Azure or Vnets within Windows Azure. It enables organizations to deploy sophisticated multi-zone network architecture, and its centralized management capabilities ensure scalable and fault tolerant network infrastructure without the management overhead.
• Barracuda Web Application Firewall: A fully integrated Web Application Firewall with Windows Azure that can dynamically scale to meet application performance and workload requirements. With predefined security templates for web applications and third-party packaged applications like Microsoft SharePoint, companies of all sizes can enjoy application security with no need to learn, configure, and manage complex technology.

The Barracuda NG Firewall and Barracuda Web Application Firewall for Windows Azure are available today as a Bring Your Own License service. For one-year subscriptions, user licenses start at U.S. list price $1,599 USD for Barracuda NG Firewall and $5,199 USD for Barracuda Web Application Firewall.
