Barracuda Backup Recognized as One of the Most Innovative Products in Hardware and Software.

Campbell, Calif. -- November 14, 2013 -- Barracuda Networks, Inc.(NYSE: CUDA), a leading provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, today announced it was named a 2013 Tech Innovator by CRN. Each year, CRN Test Center editors review hundreds of products to determine the best of the best, and the annual Tech Innovator Awards recognize the vendors that have launched the most innovative new hardware and software solutions over the past year. Barracuda was selected for Barracuda Backup with Cloud LiveBoot for VMware in the virtualization category.

Barracuda Backup with Cloud LiveBoot for VMware enables customers to boot VMware images in the cloud by pulling data directly from deduplicated storage. In addition to speeding recovery and reducing overall downtime, Barracuda Cloud LiveBoot for VMware provides customers with a platform for testing the validity of backups, doing granular restores, and testing applications outside of their production environments.
