| Barracuda Networks Launches Business Unit to Support Enterprise Solutions | |

Campbell, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2012) - Barracuda Networks Inc. today announced the new Barracuda Enterprise, a strategic business unit dedicated to delivering enterprise-class security solutions to large organizations. Barracuda Networks has appointed Michael Van Bruinisse as general manager and vice president of the business unit. Van Bruinisse joined Barracuda Networks in 2009 following the acquisition of Atlanta-based Purewire, where he served as co-founder, president and CEO. "Barracuda Networks' enterprise security business has experienced significant growth over the past few years, particularly with our next generation firewalls, Web application firewalls and web security solutions," explains Van Bruinisse. "The formation of Barracuda Enterprise allows us to expand our existing enterprise security capabilities, and there is no doubt this focused effort will have a positive impact on our clients, channel and overall financial growth."
